June Htun is a Tri-lingual attorney, fluent in English, Spanish, and Burmese. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a major in English and a minor in Spanish. June Htun received her law degree from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. Being first generation in the United States, June can relate and share the same compassion with immigrants who are striving for the same goal, which is the opportunity to better their lives, education, and future for their family. This is why June has a passion for immigration Law and the desire to help others.

The combination of her knowledge of the U.S. Immigration laws and experience practicing in the Immigration Courts throughout the United States will make clients feel comfortable and confident in the quality of work that is provided to them.

Eliza KleinEliza C. Klein – Of Counsel

Eliza Klein is a retired United States Immigration Judge who sat on the bench in Miami, Boston and Chicago from September 1994 to January 2015. Prior to being appointed to the bench, she practiced in Boston concentrating on immigration and criminal law. Eliza received her Juris Doctorate from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston Massachusetts and earned her BA in Anthropology from Kirkland College.

Lisa Chun – Associate Attorney

Lisa Chun is an attorney with over 12 years of experience practicing immigration law. She practiced as a non-profit attorney representing immigrants pro bono and advocating for immigrants’ rights for most of her career before joining the Law Offices of June J. Htun. She specializes in representing immigrants with complex legal issues and humanitarian forms of relief. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. As a child of immigrants, she understands the value that immigrants bring to America and the dignity with which they should be treated as they try to build their lives in this country.
