June Htun – Principal Attorney
June Htun is the principal attorney of the Law Offices of June J. Htun. June has been practicing Immigration Law since 2009. She is tri-lingual in English, Spanish and Burmese. June graduated from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois with a Juris Doctor degree. Her practice’s main office is located in Chicago, Illinois with a satellite office in Aurora, Illinois. She focuses her practice on removal/deportation defense, humanitarian based and family based immigration, asylum and federal litigation. June regularly practices before the U.S. Immigration Courts, Board of Immigration Appeals, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and United States Circuit Courts of Appeals. She has successfully represented immigrants who have had prior orders of removals and has even brought back immigrants who were physically removed out of the United States.
June’s passion for providing legal assistance to immigrants is rooted to the fact that she is a first-generation immigrant herself. June can relate and share the same compassion with immigrants who are striving for the same goal, which is the opportunity to better their lives, education, and future for their families. This desire to help immigrants drives June to zealously advocate for her clients.
The combination of her knowledge of the U.S. Immigration laws and experience practicing in the Immigration Courts throughout the United States makes clients feel comfortable and confident in the quality of legal work that is provided to them.
